For over 20 years The Box Shop has provided large-scale public art for parks, cities, and events across the Bay Area. There used to be many similar shops. Today the Box Shop is the last of its kind, and it will disappear soon unless we can raise enough money to purchase a permanent home.
Losing the Box Shop would do incalculable damage to local arts. Thousands of artists would lose all access to the tools, space, and heavy machinery required to build the big things we all enjoy. Below is a small slice of the many thousands of artworks and events to have come from this unique and historic facility.
